The Residents Association was founded in February 2003, and covers an area largely bounded between two railway lines and the A40. To the west the boundary is the Central Line (A40 to just past West Acton station), and to the east the boundary is the National Rail lines (Acton Main Line to Twyford Avenue road bridge). Gypsy Corner is at the north-east extremity of WARA. The area includes approximately 1500 residences.
