LBE Meeting at St Mary's Parish LBE have arranged a meeting at St Mary's Parish Church, The Mount Opposite Morrison's Acton  W3 9NW on Thursday 1 October 2009 from 7.00pm -9.00 pm Oct 2009
WARA public meeting will be on 7th October 2009 the next public meeting will be on 7th October 2009.  It will start at 7pm, with the first item being a Neighbourhood Watch update from the Safer Neighbourhood Police Team.  This will be followed by the AGM. Oct 2009

Proposal for a waste treatment/recycling plant in West London The proposal for a waste treatment / recycling plant in West London was briefly mentioned in the February WARA newsletter and at the recent WARA meeting.  There is a presentation on the proposals on Monday 30th March, details below.   This meeting is to obtain further details of the proposals, and to encourage the consultants to keep local community groups informed of progress. Gowing & Pursey/Waste Transfer Station Following the prosecution of Bridgemarts Ltd (trading as Gowing & Pursey) in March 2006, the Senior Environmental Health Officer has recently stated that the Council has been applying pressure on Gowing & Pursey
to submit the details required under the statutory notice.
